Relaxation of fumigation regulations for imports to India

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food in India has officially informed about an exemption to facilitate fumigation regulations for agricultural commodities. The so-called Office Memorandum "Re-laxation of fumigation regulations for import of agricultural commodities" can be found on the website of the Julius Kühn Institute:

This exemption applies to goods covered by the Indian Plant Quarantine Order, 2003, which require fumigation with methyl bromide for imports to India. It is valid until 31 December 2018.
